He samples vocals from Skrillex’s “Scary Monsters and Sprites” bringing it all together effortlessly in this chilled-out hip hop beat. So I’ve been pretty lazy on posting, been working and chilling aggressively hard otherwise. This week is turning out to be quite the time for new releases. Out today is Michael Brun’s rework of Neon Trees’ now infamously dubbed Las Vegas anthem, “Animal.” I posted the preview awhile back, so hopefully you got a taste of how absolutely EPIC this song is. What you were unable to hear is the second half, which is even more elite. Here is the full high quality version for your aural pleasure. Huuuuuge debut release from the new Swedish duo over at Size Records, Qulinez. Alexander Lager and Johannes Gustafsson, two childhood friends hailing from Varberg, Sweden have been producing tracks together since early 2006. In 2011, they began producing tracks for a project called “Qulinez”, and sent a demo straight to Steve Angello at Size Records, who took an immediate and avid interest in the talented young producers. Even they are setting the bar kind of high with this amazing track, the sky is the limit for these young lads. Now, enough talk.
