FREE DOWNLOAD: Seven Lions feat. Minnesota & Mimi Page – Fevers

Astronaut-Drunk-HD

Massive song from Seven Lions. I personally have mixed feelings on dubstep in general, but I have seen Seven Lions live before and caught a quick glimpse of his set at EDC this weekend as well, and I like what he does. This has a bit of a Skrillex feel to it, which is a good thing in my opinion. Worth a listen and a download.

Cazzette + Trap = Good Times

cazzette-live

Cazzette recently uploaded previews of two new remixes. One is a trap remix of an old Tim Berg track that has been one of my favorites for years now. It will be out on Avicii‘s label, Le7els, within a month. The other is a bootleg they dropped at UMF…ya, it’s “that” song by the wonder boy Baauer. Anywho, Cazzette is fresh, so be on the lookout.

RELEASE: Rudimental – Feel The Love (Kill Paris Remix) [Big Beat]

kill-paris-2

Out this week on Big Beat is the latest remix from Kill Paris, who defines his slow steppin’ dubstep version of Rudimental‘s hit single “Feel The Love” as “makin’ love music.” I guess I wouldn’t go that far, but then again, I have yet to throw this one on the surround sound when a lady friend was over. So I guess I will have to come back to y’all after the weekend to confirm this claim. Overall, I dig the track. Purchase below.

Sound Remedy is really something special. Every single track he puts out is better than the last. He has what we in the business like to call “taste.” He picks the best tracks to remix, and his productions are so on point it hurts. I’m in dreamland right now. Thanks for ze fantastic euphoric synths. My sunday morning is so much better. Oh and for your new favorite song…you’re welcome :)

“Pick it up, pick it all up.
And start again.
You’ve got a second chance,
you could go home.
Escape it all.
It’s just irrelevant.”

Here are two great remixes of the collab between Nervo and Hook N Sling called “Reason.” It was a huge track in 2012 and these two cats really crushed the remixes. The first is in uplifting progressive anthem format and brought to us from Gatzby (we did a spotlight on him in November…he’s fresh). And the second comes from a bro named Ziggy and is a wild dubstep rendition that will seductively creep in the back door and buttf**k your emotions. Trust me, I was not prepared for what hit me. Then we round it out with my prediction for breakout producer of 2013.

And can we please take a moment to thank God for creating this angel of a woman you see before you? Might be towing the line between angel and temptress, but hey, that’s what we are really looking for anyways. Right?
