Still love her ‘Get Lucky‘ edit, and her Ellie Goulding edit isn’t too shabby either, but this one in particular really pulls at my heartstrings. It could be because of my undying love for the Swede who helped make the original, but this edit is just about perfect. I was listening it today in the rain on my way to work thinking about the weekend ahead of me and my life in general, feeling very sentimental. Don’t just sit there and let life pass you by. Go out and follow your dreams; and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Take it from this beautiful German girl, I am sure she’s been told countless times she’s just a face and will never “make it”. Jokes on them.
Welcome to ‘Product Placement 101′ with Ash Pournouri
Kid does pop so goddamn well. This is what I am calling his ‘Leaving You‘ follow up. Watch out Avicii. As trance continues to grow in the hearts of mainstream Americans, we could see a new king on the “EDM thrown” very soon. We’ve loved him here at AYNE ever since his early beginnings, and after he opened for Tiesto this past NYE we knew it was finally his time in the sun. Looks like he’s been having a blast this summer out on a mini tour of sorts. There really is no end in sight for this bright young star, but if he keeps up these types of remixes, we’re talking super stardom. His music is just so fkn undeniable. Like you want to hate this single because it’s Bruno Mars, but you just keep turning it up. Damn you’re good, Nate. Stay posted for more info on a release date.
Out this week on LE7ELS is the new single from Ashely Wallbridge called “Crush.” This is the type of shit the Swedish House Mafia would use to elevate entire stadiums of people to a state of wonder. The track is extremely high-energy and features some dope acid house in the beginning and end. It’s going to be supported by pretty much every big progressive house DJ/Producer. I mean the label is run by Avicii….so, you think this one is gonna be big? Ya. No brainer.
Tom Swoon dropping a massive edit of the Avicii original. Threw it on for the first time and my bedroom turned into Rave City, population: 1 broney. Seriously, the original has some of my favorite vocals from any song ever, and Tommy boy added some serious party flavor to it. On top of that, it’s a freebie for hitting 25k likes on Facebook. Thanks, Mr. Swoon.
We here at AYNE are massive Avicii fan-boys despite all the current hate by hipsters saying that he’s gone “too mainstream”. He’s just too goddamn fresh to hate on. Had his own hotel in MIA for Ultra, and now he has his own hotel in Ibiza for the summer. If that doesn’t get you even a little horny you may want to check your pulse. He’s 23 years old. Can you imagine having your own hotel in those places? The amount of shenanigans that I am sure would ensue if the AYNE crew were to have similar accommodations have me extremely jealous of the young swede and his entourage. Anyways, I was re-listening to his promo mix from a little while ago (because it’s fucking money), and this new one really stuck with me. Not not excited for him to drop his album. Think we may have to add the Avicii day party at Marquee to our #Vegas plans. Probably won’t be very many attractive people there though…..
Will always remember the time I met this beautiful man down in Miami. Specifically, the part where Tim Berg leans over to me and says that Henrik B handed him a CD with his latest track, which what not even finished, and just says play it. What does Avicii do? Yea, he threw that puppy in and rocked the house. That track was called “Acid Rocker” and it is one of my go to track still to this day…when I’m looking to get a little weird…you know what I mean right? Anyways, that’s neither here nor there. This new release is his biggest anthem since the famous remix of Adrian Lux‘s “Teenage Crime” he did with Axwell. I can pretty much guarantee this will be in your head for the entire summer. Also on the collab is Niklas Gustavsson and the vocals from Peter Johansson. You know what they say, three is company. It’s out on Le7els today. Enjoy
