Will always remember the time I met this beautiful man down in Miami. Specifically, the part where Tim Berg leans over to me and says that Henrik B handed him a CD with his latest track, which what not even finished, and just says play it. What does Avicii do? Yea, he threw that puppy in and rocked the house. That track was called “Acid Rocker” and it is one of my go to track still to this day…when I’m looking to get a little weird…you know what I mean right? Anyways, that’s neither here nor there. This new release is his biggest anthem since the famous remix of Adrian Lux‘s “Teenage Crime” he did with Axwell. I can pretty much guarantee this will be in your head for the entire summer. Also on the collab is Niklas Gustavsson and the vocals from Peter Johansson. You know what they say, three is company. It’s out on Le7els today. Enjoy
It’s almost summer time. And that means party time. Some beautiful soul found my cell phone last night, so I was in a great mood this morning. And as a result, you all get brand new mix. It’s got tons of stuff in it. Some progressive, some of that new age trance, some big room progressive sing alongs for the ladies, and even a nice little deep section at the end. Basically, if you thought you were not partying today, you were mistaken. Enjoy.
Cazzette recently uploaded previews of two new remixes. One is a trap remix of an old Tim Berg track that has been one of my favorites for years now. It will be out on Avicii‘s label, Le7els, within a month. The other is a bootleg they dropped at UMF…ya, it’s “that” song by the wonder boy Baauer. Anywho, Cazzette is fresh, so be on the lookout.
Mr. Fluff made his AYNE debut a few months ago with their epic original titled “Raise Your Voices.” He is a DJ/Producer out of Malaysia…and pretty much the only big name hailing from that country. Respect. Anyways, he is back with another huge hit. This one is a big room, progressive house anthem with uplifting vocals. Check out the preview of “Fearless Hearts” below. It is set to be released on Vicious Records.
RELEASE DATE: 12.03.12
Bonus material for you greedy bastards. Mr. Fluff did this little bootleg a while ago. Pretty solid work if you ask me. It is on the heavier side so caution newbies. Free download.
This is going to be an EPIC release on Avicii’s new Le7els label from one of his mentors, and a legend in my book, Henrik B. The track is called “Voices” and it is a collaboration between Henrik, Niklas Gustavsson and Peter Johansson. Preview it below and watch out the for the release this fall/winter.
Here is the third Jakob Liedholm track on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. Only 15 years old. But hey, listen to the Tong, “that’s not why we are playin’ it…it’s cause it’s large.” Liedholm has truly found his sound and is impressing me more and more. He has firmly placed himself on a level with some of the other rising Swedish stars, Otto Knows, Jerry Rekonius, Mikael Weermets, and Bauer & Lanford. The kid has the potential to be as big as Avicii and Alesso. Get familiar.
The huge unreleased collab from Avicii and Nicky Romero that was previously called “Nicktim,” now has vocals and will be released under the name “Stranger.” Yet another beautiful vocal track from two of the biggest progressive house producers in the game. You could say that this one is essential. Preview is taken from Tim’s latest “Le7els” Podcast and will be released this month. More info to come soon.
