[Official Video] Who’s Your Daddy? (Uncensored)

Anyone who hates on Benassi these days is just jealous. Oh how quickly we forget what he has given us… Who cares if he doesn’t do much live mixing anymore. I’d sell my soul to spend a weekend with him in Ibiza. Better believe the man knows how to party.

NEWS: House Music Has Become A Global Phenomenon [Forbes]

Just read this article in Forbes today, and I have to say one thing first. Um, where the fuck have you been? Those who have been deeply rooted in house music already know some history of the industry and how it’s popularity is similar to that of professional soccer (futbol for you enthusiasts out there), in that it has been extremely successful everywhere else in the world except America. Now that the US media has picked up on the rise of EDM and house music amongst American youth, we are seeing articles like this. As we have been saying for the last year or so…IT’S TAKING OVER…and there is no stopping it. It has become more than music. It is a way of life. And the global youth is the main catalyst. I say, fuck yea to that!

Oh and they are naming their own list of 12 “Top DJs” with the following order: 1. Avicii, 2. Laidback Luke, 3. Afrojack, 4. Tiesto, 5. Armin Van Buuren, 6. Steve Aoki, 7. Paul Van Dyk, 8. Kaskade, 9. Fatboy Slim, 10. Benny Benassi, 11. Chuckie, and 12. Swedish House Mafia.  While I disagree with the order in some respects and the exemption of some really talented DJs, I respect the attempt.

“Over the past month, I have spoken to some of the most famous DJ’s in the world. Starting on Monday, you will hear from a different DJ each day leading up to the Ultra Music Festival. They will share how they got into house music, what they do every day, why they believe house music has taken over America, and more.”
