David Berrie is back in the spotlight with a big release on Flamingo Records. Out today, “Aquarius” is yet another solid big-room progressive house anthem from one of NYC’s brightest young talents. David has been playing a number of gigs around the US and spending a lot of time in the studio. Seems to be paying off. His melodies are spot on and his synth work is stellar. Support David and buy this new single via the Beatport LInk below. Keep up the good work brotha.
We previewed this track a week or so ago, and it’s not today on Beatport. For those who missed it, check out the preview below. Two is nice, but you know what they say…three is company. NYC’s own dBerrie, Dzeko & Torres, and DJ Ruckus team up in a collaborative remix of Lenny Kravitz’s “I Can’t Be Without You,” and it the result is nothing short of aces.
David Berrie and Dzeko & Torres on one track…uh oh. Last time that happened, it was pretty bonkers. This track is what you call a game changer. Can’t say enough about these bros. I follow them closely and always have their tracks in my sets. Brilliant producers doing big things, together. Gotta love it. Oh, and not to mention, what about Lenny gettin’ into the house music game these days? Respect brotha. Anyways, I don’t need to tell you…but this is gonna be a wild one. And one more thing, watch out for David’s new track “Radium,” cause it’s not small.
RELEASE DATE: 09.25.2012
David Berrie just released his latest original production on Flamingo Records the other day. It’s called “Voices,” and it should be hitting the Beatport Top 100 very shortly…if it’s not there already. Big room progressive house with that silky smooth melodic technique the had made David one of the biggest up-and-coming American DJ/Producers. Can’t wait to see him again live as I will be moving to “the city” this week. Anyways, grab this one and play it loud…David’s music will most likely become you latest obsession.
dBerrie – Voices (Original Mix) – Beatport Link – $$$$$ Feel good vibes from this melodic progressive anthem. Love it.
Get at ya boy David Berrie via Soundcloud and make sure to show him some love by liking him on Facebook and following him on Twitter. All smart decisions.
Also, stay tuned for large wave of postings tonight. Playing a bit of catchup.
New York City’s own David Berrie continues to gain momentum in 2012. He is among the best American producers in house music right now, and has an arsenal of new music coming our way. I woke up this morning to an email from the man with a brand new remix inside. He did a quite creative take on the new Passion Pit track “Take A Walk.” I would venture to say it’s one of his dirtiest drops to date. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more fraicheness from David.

Seems only appropriate that when I arrive in NYC, there is a brand new dBerrie remix preview waiting for me. David Berrie is taking over NYC and America for that matter, as he has been playing numerous shows on the west coast this spring. Whether it’s his deeper, more tech house side or his upbeat progressive anthems, he has been putting out nothing but hot fire these days. You know how I mentioned that David messed up and remixed the wrong track for Sony this past month…well, despite that track being a huge success, he has got it right this time and it’s set to be released this June. This new for Sony Music is his progressive house take on Chris Brown’s “Don’t Wake Up.” Combine breezy’s voice and dBerrie’s signature sounds and what do you get? Dancefloor 2.0…progressive perfection…the future.
Hope your were takin’ notes.
Woke up today at 5:45am with 3 hrs of sleep under my belt, drove to the airport in a daze, and as I parked my car and headed into the world’s bussiest airport, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, which, may I add, does not give free wifi (That really chaps my ass)…hence the lateness of this post, I check my email…and what do I see? An email from David Berrie with a fun surprise inside! Here is the free release of a new David Berrie production. You can definitely hear his unique sound, which, after taking the world by storm with his remix of Gotye’s “Somebody I Used To Know,” has pretty much been perfected. He is easily my favorite DJ/Producer out of the NYC, and quite possibly America…big statement I know. But hey, go big or go home. Keep an eye out for this one. It’s a biggy.
Gossip – Perfect World (dBerrie Remix) - $$$$$ Progressive fire from the NYC. David’s electro infused synth method has really got me. What can I say? Love the dude.
Oh and if you are in the city this week he is playing at Avenue (in fact AYNE’s very own Wallace is spinning there for Spring Soiree on June 6th…be there, it’s great music and it’s for charity), and he is also one of the DJs playing Bounce Boat next weekend…sounds like a really nice option to me. If you are hesitant, check out the video. Trust me, not being able to attend this angers me deeply.
