Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, pimps and hoes…boy do we have an epic give away for you tonight! One of AYNE’s favorite rising stars from Sweden sent us his personal edit of the massive original from Swedish superstars, Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso, called “Calling (Lose My Mind).” You may have heard of it…it was practically the song of the year in 2011. Anyways, Jerry Rekonius is poised to hit the big time, and tonight we bring it to you an exclusive free download direct from the man himself. It is without a doubt the best remix/edit of “Calling” I have heard thus far…and I have heard enough. I thought I would never say this…but honestly, Jerry took this track to a new level with a killer synth melody that will leave you craving more. Preview and download below.
Jerry just finished his Carlsberg Unbottle Tour, which features the most promising up-and-coming DJs in Sweden. Qulinez was the first act this year to do the tour and up next is Lunde Bros…so basically he’s been crushing it pretty hard over there in the land of brutal winters and beautiful blonde babes. Stay tuned for the official announcement of his upcoming UK dates and his forthcoming remix of “Damage Control” from Lazy Rich, Hirshee and Amba Shepherd, which will be out in March on Big Fish Recordings. Oh and if you missed the preview of this bad boy…It’s that feel good shit we all love, just with some of Rekonius’s special sauce. It’s a jam.
For more of Jerry’s music and info about upcoming tour dates and release, visit his Facebook page and follow him on Soundcloud. It’s the intelligent thing to do. Oh and one more thing…when he’s finally in the limelight, and we are all backstage partying our dicks off with Jerry and his crew over at I’M AGENCY, don’t be mad…we tried to tell you.
New release from Sebjak is sure to light the club on fire. With remixes from AYNE favorites like Gregori Klosman and Jerry Rekonius this release is for experienced party goers only. Peek time madness. That being said, I think the DEVolution club mix is my favorite. So FONKY…
Out this week on Spinnin’ Records is another heavy electro house bomb from our good friend, Swedish DJ/Producer, Jerry Rekonius. It’s called “Turn Up The Bass,” and it requires the appropriate sound equipment for the desired effect. Big room synths and dirty drops make this one a must have for that point in the night where people are looking to let all their troubles go and get weird for a bit. Make sure to check out the preview below and purchase via Beatport!
We threw up a preview of the bad ass Rekonius remix earlier this month. If you recall, this track features soothing vocals from Cosmo Klein. The original is very much a traditional progressive club track, which features an infectious groove and dominant bassline. Jerry’s remix has a much different structure. It accentuates the vocals in the verse sections and utilizes some real nice overlapping synth melodies that work perfectly together. Then comes the fun part…a dirty electro style drop that will make any crowd lose control.
I have a feeling this will be heard on Randal’s Island this weekend…
Massive new progressive monster from the same guy who brought you “10th” and “Paranormal.” Jerry’s new track features an extremely powerful drop and beautifully melodic verses. Pretty much has everything you want from a big-room track. It’s always a nice problem to be putting out more music than you have pictures on google. Out soon on Spinnin’ Records, so stay tuned!
Remaining consistent with out m.o. here at AYNE, here is my latest mix…two weeks late. This one could be the best yet. I included a number of genres, styles, techniques…if you will…and included some of my own bootlegs and edits, a few of which are from my private stash. Wether its trance, progressive, electro, ze more funky shtuff, or even moombahton that tickles your special place, I have you covered. Hope this sends you into the weekend the right way. Oh, and for those of you who are still hungover like I am, not to worry, it starts soft and dreamy.

As promised, and a bit early I might add, here is my new mashup of two huuuuge, high-energy progressive/electro house tracks. Jerry Rekonius has been a longtime AYNE favorite, and recently, I have been playing the GTA remix of Breakdown’s “F**kin Lose It,” so while I was putting together the new Visions Of Summer mix, I had the two tracks back-to-back…and what do ya know? An hour later…brand new bootleg. This one is definitely made for the weekend. Now go forth and rage.
