It’s almost summer time. And that means party time. Some beautiful soul found my cell phone last night, so I was in a great mood this morning. And as a result, you all get brand new mix. It’s got tons of stuff in it. Some progressive, some of that new age trance, some big room progressive sing alongs for the ladies, and even a nice little deep section at the end. Basically, if you thought you were not partying today, you were mistaken. Enjoy.

Here are two great remixes of the collab between Nervo and Hook N Sling called “Reason.” It was a huge track in 2012 and these two cats really crushed the remixes. The first is in uplifting progressive anthem format and brought to us from Gatzby (we did a spotlight on him in November…he’s fresh). And the second comes from a bro named Ziggy and is a wild dubstep rendition that will seductively creep in the back door and buttf**k your emotions. Trust me, I was not prepared for what hit me. Then we round it out with my prediction for breakout producer of 2013.
And can we please take a moment to thank God for creating this angel of a woman you see before you? Might be towing the line between angel and temptress, but hey, that’s what we are really looking for anyways. Right?
Out today on Nicky’s label, Protocol Recordings, is the remix package for his collab with Nervo titled “Like Home.” Huge artists on this remix EP. First off, mister Dannic, who has been on a rampage in 2011. Guess that’s what happens when one of your best friends is the #6 DJ in the world and runs his own label. That said, nothing can take away from the dude’s talent. He produced the best remix out of these three by far. Funky, thick, progressive style drops that will make your knees ache and booty shake. The other two are from Dillon Francis and Gregor Salto. Definitely can’t say enough about these two producers. Even though I prefer the Dannic version, these cats hold their own, especially the swag cat himself. I would just go ahead and grab all three. You never know where the night will take you. Be ready.
Out yesterday on his own label, Protocol Recordings, is the new hit single from Nicky Romero, with Nervo on the collaboration. The talents of these three young stars collide in one hell of a progressive house banger. The synth work and vocals are stellar. This one is for the big room, peak time, max volume. Pretty much an essential track for this fall. Buy it below. I have also included a preview of the Dillon Francis remix that will be released in a couple weeks. It’s fuego. Stay tuned.
Mr. Francis slowsteppin’ it for us with a bit of that whomp. Preview from Nicky’s podcast.

TRACK OF THE WEEK
Skrillex feat. The Doors – Breakn’ A Sweat
Nicky and the always fun and sexy Nervo twins come together for another collab. This one is high energy and extremely melodic. Similar synth work as Nicky’s collab with Avicii called “Stranger.” It is set to be released a week from today via Nicky’s label, Protocol Recordings. The vocals are simply gorgeous, and combined Nicky’s genius melodies, they will carry this one to the Beatport Top 10.
